Dornick Hills Country Club Golf Course

After an eight-year hiatus, the Maxwell Intercollegiate will return to Ardmore. Dornick Hills Golf and Country Club again will serve as host to the NCAA Division I golf tournament, set for April 16-17, 2016. The inaugural year of the Maxwell was in 1992 and the event ran for the next 16 years — until 2008.  Scheduling issues caused the field to be reduced to six teams, and the tournament subsequently dissolved.
In 2016, the field is guaranteed to be least twice as large.

"This spring, I asked schools if they would be interested, and in 24 hours, I had 12 teams confirm," said Maxwell board member Bob Bramlett, who has been a key figure in restarting the tournament.
Some of the best collegiate golf programs in the country will descend on Dornick Hills, including five schools from the Big 12.
Texas, ranked second in NCAA Division 1, 15th-ranked Oklahoma, No. 19 Oklahoma State, No. 21 Baylor, No. 26 New Mexico out of the Western Athletic Conference, No. 38 Houston of the American Athletic Conference, No. 47 Colorado of the Pac 12 and No. 50 Georgia Regents University of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference have confirmed their entries into the tournament.
Also participating will be No. 65 North Carolina of the Atlantic Coastal Conference, No. 82 Memphis and No. 102 Tulsa, both of the AAC, and West Virginia of the Big 12. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will serve as co-hosts.
